The WiFi was hella fast, perfect for streaming our favorite shows. Plus, the location was epic - right next to the dopest night market and a short walk to the lit MRT station. The common area was straight fire, super chill vibes to hang with friends. Best hostel ever!
It would've been fuego if they had a bangin' rooftop party area. A place where we could turn up and have a lit night with other cool peeps.

I recently stayed at this lovely guesthouse in Kaohsiung for a few days. The staff, especially Yeye, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They made me feel at home with their warm and welcoming attitude. The guesthouse itself was impeccably clean and well-organized, with thoughtful touches like free towels and flip-flops in the bathroom. The common areas were perfect for relaxing and the location was convenient, with a food market and public transportation nearby. it was a pleasant stay thanks to the clean and friendly atmosphere provided by the Japanese owner.
Would recommend this hotel.

As a senior woman, I found Ahiruyah Guesthouse to be a wonderful place to stay. The decoration throughout the hotel was charming and created a cozy atmosphere. The general areas, such as the lobby and living room, were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and socialize. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior individuals was commendable, with easy access to rooms and facilities, making my stay hassle-free.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is if the children working there could kindly remind some guests to keep their voices down after 10pm. The noise from chatting and talking in the kitchen late at night could be a bit disruptive for those of us who prefer a quieter environment.

We had an amazing stay at this guesthouse. The owner was very present and helpful, assisting us with finding places and planning our trip. They even left us a welcome pastry, which was a lovely touch. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main night market and close to both the MRT station and the train station. The staff were friendly and always ready to help us with anything we needed. The hostel itself was clean and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, clean towels, and a nice kitchen. The atmosphere was nice and chilled, and we loved the friendly vibes that made it easy to make new friends. Definitely one of the cleanest hostels we've ever stayed in!
Everything was great! 😊

The shared bathroom had free toiletries and slippers, making it feel like a cozy spa experience. The double room had a toaster and kitchenware, which was perfect for making breakfast in the morning. Having a shared kitchen allowed us to prepare meals, which saved us money on eating out. The single room had a microwave and washing machine, making it convenient for long-term stays. The quadruple room had air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable and cool atmosphere. The dormitory room had air conditioning, an oven, and a microwave, making it feel like a home away from home. The single room had a microwave, which was great for heating up leftovers. Bathrooms had complimentary toiletries, saving us the hassle of bringing our own. The dormitory room had a tea/coffee maker, perfect for starting the day with a hot beverage.
Personally, I would have liked more variety in the breakfast options.

The hostel has a very central location, making it convenient for exploring the city. The staff are attentive and ensure the place is clean and quiet after 11pm. There is a breakfast shop nearby, making it convenient for late-night hunger. The facilities are well-maintained and there is ample storage space. Perfect for backpackers or friends looking for a cheap and comfortable stay.
Felt free to seek any assistance, no reason to complain.

The location of the guesthouse was great, with a night market, bar, and nightclub nearby. The MRT station was also very close, making it easy to get around the city. the bathroom was in perfect condition, with hot water and a small bath towel provided upon arrival. The common area was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere for guests.
One of the drawbacks was the noise in the lobby living room, with people chatting and talking in the kitchen late into the night. It would have been better if the staff could remind customers to keep their voices down after 10pm.

The dorms were spacious and equipped with classy beds and curtains for privacy. The common areas were cozy and filled with natural light, creating a friendly atmosphere where I could easily make new friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a guided tour of the hostel upon arrival. The location was ideal, conveniently located near a metro station and a night market. The hostel's location is ideal, being just a short walk from both the metro and the night market. The staff is knowledgeable about local food and can provide great recommendations. The hostel is clean and offers comfortable beds with curtains for privacy, own bed light and sockets, and lockers with keys provided. The bathrooms are well-stocked and there is even a convenient balcony for smoking. Reception staff is helpful and informative.
The hostel could benefit from adding a bidet shower and organizing more social activities for guests.

The guesthouse had a "shared lounge" that was like a party all night long. It was conveniently located near a subway station and a night market. The terrace and laundry facilities were a nice addition.
Oh, how wonderful it was to be kept awake by the noisy party next door at night. Pure bliss.
